Development Clinics Throughout Eastern Cape

In collaboration with our sponsorship with SPAR, the SPAR Madibaz Netball club conducted coaching clinics in various parts of the Eastern Cape in 2019 and until March 2020.  These included two coaches’ education clinics and two players coaching clinics.  The Coaches clinic was conducted at Hudson Park in East London (May 2019) and Victory Christian School in Jeffreys Bay (Oct 2019) and the player’s clinic was hosted at Kingswood in Grahamstown (April 2019), Madibaz Sport George Campus in George (May 2019) and a coaches’ clinic hosted at DSG school for girls in Grahamstown just before lockdown (16-17 March 2020).

These clinics aim to equip coaches the necessary tools to teach and develop the skills of their players throughout the year. Each clinic is tailored to the needs that are presented by the coaches and players of each group. The clinics are conducted by our head coach Lana Krige and assisted by our elite squad players.  Lana is a qualified NSA Level 2 coach and is also registered through SASCOC RPL (recognition of prior learning). Attending coaches are given the course material and session workouts, coaching book and stationary.
