On Wednesday the 3rd of July 2019 teams rested and were invited to witness trials of selected players for the USSA Development squad to participate in CUCSA 2020 (cancled due to Covid)
Three players from Nelson Mandela University were selected:

Carla Viviers
As per tradition during the USSA Championship four (4) Dream Teams consisting of seven (7) players were selected. One of the Nelson Mandela university players were selected.
