School Clinics hosted at Nelson Mandela University

The SPAR Madibaz Netball club started to host High School and Primary School clinics in 2018.  The club successfully hosted both these clinics in 2019 and 2020. Schools from Eastern and Western Cape is invited to enter their teams and coaches in these coaching clinics.  The number of teams and school attending has progress over the past three years with the biggest attendance at the 2020 clinics.  Once again through the partnership with SPAR we were able to partner with one of the SPAR suppliers, Noorsveld Chickens that assisted with the supply of product for meals supplied at the events.

Education and Training:  The main aim of these clinics is for coaches to enter squads to the clinic and use the opportunity to work with our club head coach and elite players in identifying talented players in their squads and assist coaches with team selections for their upcoming seasons.  Coaches are also equipped with the latest coaching and skill techniques to be used in training for their upcoming season.
